In families Islam has placed the economic responsibility on the shoulders of men. But the economic activities of women have not been altogether banned however it has been deemed essential that the economic activities of female folk should be within the ambit of Islam and these activities should not affect their basic responsibilities as wives and mothers and these should not affect their honor and chastity in any way. As per a survey by Indian NGO's 53%of women folk face sexual harassment at work place. The kind of materialistic and lustful world we live in these figure should not be surprising.
Getting a good education does not necessarily mean that girls have to do a job! If they want they can take up tuition at home or at mohalla level can set up coaching centers in collaboration with other like minded girls. Exclusive girls schools can be set up by these girls and thus not only earn an honorable income but serve the society as well. If they want they can join their father, brother or other lawful relatives in business and groups of girls can set up business ment exclusively for females.
When condition of working ladies is set for marriages we render finding a job a matter of life and death for these girls. Many vices can be controlled in the society if the condition of job is avoided for marriages. I appeal the young men not to set this condition of working ladies for marriages and express religious zeal in these matters.
